Nandasiddhi Sayadaw was not a bhikkhu whose fame reached far beyond the specialized groups of Burmese Buddhists. He refrained from founding a massive practice hall, releasing major books, or pursuing global celebrity. Yet among those who encountered him, he was remembered as a figure of uncommon
